bb bastard or madbull

i am wondering what bb is better.bb bastard or madbull.

viraL May 18th, 2009 15:59

It's personal preference. Most people go with BB Bastards. I do. They are great!

Amos May 18th, 2009 16:08

Bastards.

Madbull are made out of a waxy material... I've heard they streak your inner barrel after a while.

theguy May 18th, 2009 16:08

I have tried both, And to be honest, can't tell a differance, both work great.

I like to use bastards though, support a Canadian producer.

I tried some Madbulls way back, and they misfed horribly in both my guns and several other's at the game, plus Ive heard they damage your inner barrel after awhile..

Stick with only Bastards now! I also sell them now thats how much I like em.

coach May 18th, 2009 16:13

Personal preference are for the Bastards.

IMO, the Mad Bulls aren't nearly as smooth or polished as well. Can't say much for residue but it could be a benefit if you need extra friction in your hopup.

I still use MB BB's in 40mm grenades though.

Skladfin May 18th, 2009 16:32

I have experience with both BBs. And I can safely say that Bastards performs much better than Madbull. They don't misfeed like the madbull does on many guns(All madbull BBs I had misfed, even the newest version).

By the way, all BBs(Except for marurzen SGM 0.29g) will leave a residue on both the inner barrel and hop up rubber over time. Regular cleaning is good for all guns using any type of BBs.

Hope that helps

Bastards are better. Madbulls Jam the hell out of my mags, in an od way though, One bag will only work in my KA Vn mags and jam up my PMags then the next bag is vice versa. I Only use Madbulls when I need bbs fast and can't find any bastards (airsoftparts.ca has amazing shipping time but only sell madbulls, only reason i even tried them was cause he has em)

Donster May 18th, 2009 16:55

Bastards FTW. they dont have a crappy residue on them that will gunk up your hop-up rubber and inner barrel

Crunchmeister May 18th, 2009 17:01

Bastards all the way. And I don't say that because I'm a Bastard reseller. I chose to sell Bastards because they're the best I've seen.

NoGear May 18th, 2009 17:34

i never tried both but when reasearching i found that bastards are very well made triple polished and your money stays in canada :)

Armyissue May 18th, 2009 20:14

Shoot the bastard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spawn28 May 18th, 2009 20:23

Bastards all the way
anything else would be uncivilized IMO

Mitchell12 May 18th, 2009 22:03

Heh, My Madbull's All fed fine in multiple AEG's, Pistols and a TM Shotty. No complaints, I buy bastards when I can because of money staying in Canada but I feel no NEED to buy only bastards like some people.

I buy them because they work, Nuff said.

Oberst May 18th, 2009 22:28

BB Bastard never gives me a problem, In fact I think they are the best bb and at the best price....how can you beat that?

coach May 19th, 2009 08:06

forgot. madbull tracers (0.25's) are better than the whites. much better finish. no feed issues and little to no residue.

swatt13 May 20th, 2009 14:01

we just went through this at our club, madbull are an alright bb, but if you have a performance gun (tightbore, upgraded hopup) they feed horrible. we also foun poor feeding in mags as well. however on a normal gun they worked well. when it came to ptw's absolutly not. they jammed mags, feed poorly, chopped, dragged in the barrel. we switched to bb bastards and have never been happier. that being said for an aeg madbulls are good and are very well priced, but i will stick with bbb myself. go team scarecrow!

Hades May 20th, 2009 14:06

madbull's fed horribly in my pmag mid caps and my jg416. Only madbulls I will run through that anymore is the tracers as they work great. BB bastards all the way though for my aegs. I pretty much only use the madbulls in my gbb's now.

Blackthorne May 20th, 2009 14:11

I use Bastards as I have had no issues with them and have with other brands.

I really like the bag they come in. I stands up on its own and makes it easier to load. They are also airtight and you can crush the air out of them so they are quieter when you want to take a bag into the field.

THe plastic in the bag is thicker too, so it stays airtight and resists punctures.

dpvu May 20th, 2009 14:29

I've used both and can't really say I have any preference (BB Bastard being Canadian aside). They both feed fine, are at the same price point and accuracy and consistency seems about par (nothing I could tell the difference). If I had a mag of Mad Bulls and a mag of BB Bastards and ran both through my guns I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

The Saint May 25th, 2009 14:19

I've used Madbull 0.25g and 0.28g.

The 0.25g is fine, no difference from BB Bastard or anything else I've used. Good stuff and available in bulk from Jugglez.

The 0.28g is not so great. I'm not getting the same performance from the MB stuff as I do from BBB. They do jam in my Star PMAGs, not fatally so, but annoying. They also don't feed as well in my TM AR-mag-style loader, which leads me to believe they're a bit larger than the BBB BBs. Shot and hopup consistency is also poorer than BBB. While not the worse BBs I've ever used, I do look forward to switching back to BBB once I'm out of MB.
