Interesting Bandwidth Statisitics
 

I ran the stats for December and we have some interesting things to note. The site is visited by as many Americans as it is Canadians, so I extend a big hearty welcome to our neighbours from the south. Also interesting were the people in the top 24 of our page visits, and I thought I visited ASC a lot. Wow. I'm not going to mention names, I just didn't know you could surf ASC more than I do.

Lol, I'm pretty sure I put Bermuda on Page 2 single handed.

Well the list is by IP address so to find out it's a pain of cross referencing, I looked up 2 or 3 people but that's it. Now people who don't have static IP addresses or surf from 2 different places will have skewed results. The numbers are for page hits, not the amount of time you actually look at the page. so leaving your computer on 24/7 means nothing unless it's actively surfing ASC while you're sleeping (and it would be scary if it did).

I don't think Lisa will post them as they are in I.P Addresses.
Maybe if Lisa posts them up, we can probably find which I.P is ours. :p

I log in from all 3 to get a clear picture of how long I'm on. I know it's a LOT...

I am not convinced the country stats are accurate. I think using IPs to figure out country is more an approximation - I've seen sites that analyze my location and they routinely think I am in upper NY state, and I think this has something to do with ISP peering.

Yeah my ip often shows me as being in Washington. Too bad its so much work to find out who's on most I would have liked to see that list.

LOL, Top 24 chairsofter's on ASC.

I have 3 computers and an ipod touch that are set to stay logged into ASC, and I browse the site for an unhealthy amount of time per day, wouldn't surprise me if I was on the list, and No I'm not a chairsofter ;)

I'm so hardcore that I browse ASC on a blackberry while playing airsoft.

(Not really... I don't even own a blackberry)

I'm pretty sure between my 3 IP addresses that I access ASC from and my insomnia, I'd be in the top 50 for sure.

Yeah, at least I get out to games whenever I can. Sort of hard when there's nothing close to me, but I got out to play 6 times last year. So I think that can take the 'chairsofter' title away from me.

This is true. Unfortuately Coors Light isn't beer, it's "beer", that's the American's attempt to put fear in the heart of CDN_Stalker........... a failed attempt though, but it does give CDN_Stalker toilet busting diarrea though (maybe toilet manufacturers had a hand in the design of this "beer", am sure their sales went up 100,000% when Coors Light first came out). Of course, it'll be consumed if it's free and the last choice available............. or if the need to sober up, which is good, because of the reduced the chance of being consumed, mainly because CDN_Stalker doesn't get drunk, only stronger! :D

Up until last summer I figured I'd easily be with in the top 24, but then again I was using two different computers (home and work) to browse and reply.

....wouldn't it be terribly hilarious is none of the people who posted in this thread were in the top 24? I bet there are some serious lurkers out there who just....are. They read and read and read and never post...and they're on here more than any of us O_o
