LEAKED news from VFC (SCAR SSR)
 

I am currently in Taiwan atm and running around shops that i usually linger at to chat with people. So this time when i was chatting with one of the VFC development managers about the SCAR SSR that i saw at last years HOO-AH Airsoft show, he said that was the prototype and the production type is in the works and almost complete. The gun in question is the gun in the background with the long reciever

According to him, they've been working on this gun for quite some time. they still have to figure out if they want to upgrade the motor and spring in check with the extra long barrel. After that decision is made they will kick it into full production:D he said in a couple of months pics will be up and the news will be made public. :D

On a side note. they are still in early stages of making the GP-25/30

well, i asked he answered lol. i told him i was gonna post it on our forums to get the hype up nd hes like...ya...lets do that lol. the gun is a real beast though. has a nice heft to it.

Also, i retract all my previous comments about the WE M4... its an insane piece of gun, after plinking at it in the shop for an hr i am truely impressed by the recoil and its reliability. same goes for the GHK AK74U. IN SHORT, im in love with GBB rifles...lolz i now wait till i return to Canadia~ so i can get one local in CAN.

apparantly US is still a no go for the WE gun due to its design. apparantly you can drop in a real AR trigger module in it...so the ATF is still trying to determine if its allowed down south

The SSW is a Support Weapon.

i cant figure out the exact name as well...i heard of it being called the SSW as in special sniper/support weapon or some sort. it was made by FN to compete for the contract for the MK11 but never won it. dont know if there was any others made after that one initial batch.

On ANOTHER side note: I forgot to mention that VFC is coming out with its own PEQ-15! i saw the prototype today as well and i have to say...the quality is far beyong Varanas's quality (i have one) the middle round black rubber button is actually rubber, battery compartment can be unscrewed unlike varanas, and the front assembly is not held by some weak fuckin nubs but with screws. good job VFC! And just like Vanaras's version there will be a desert tan and black version. A fully functional version (with laser) is in the works

no idea yet if your talking bout the SCAR i have no idea (BTW i found out its called the SCAR SSR)

as for the dummy PEQ 15 they said the price to be below NT$1000 which is around $35 if i am correct

It will be VFC SCAR #3 for me. It looks awesome with the extended receiver.

Yea, it'll be a second SCAR for me... I'll definetly be kitting that thing out purely for a sniper role.

I'm getting the MOSFET si it'll have the 1 second delay. It's going to be 450 fps, pure snipeness.

Their EGLM and PEQ 15 are coming too.

Oh my god, that scope mount is hawt. A must get... I think you and I are going to have very similar set-ups for this gun, just possibly different colours.

The EGLM is nice too with the different triggers, but i've already got one so I ain't gonna spend more for theirs.

I'm a SCAR lover too. Man, I can't believe that I was almost about to order it before I even checked how much money I have left in my bank account.

I just sold a VFC. I kind of regret it now, because I could've completed a VFC SCAR family.
