That shouldn't be too hard to make. You can just find the parts you need online. Or try looking at M4's that look like this.

Virtually all you would need is an M4, particularly CQB cause of short barrel, a RIS, and a crane stock, then you can spray paint it tan or whatever

the receiver is a different shape and by the looks of it its not a 5.56cal.

so i dont think you can make that from existing airsoft parts.

heheh, the only thing cool about it in my opinion was that they used the reload animation popularized by the Magpul guys. Even then, it wasn't the gun that made me go "wow" XD

Then you would have just another M4 CQB or SOPMOD variant - not a CM901. The 7.62 CM901 upper only comes in 13 or 16 inch variants - so you wouldn't be using a CQB barrel anyway. What you need is a CM901 receiver, probably the 7.62 variant by the looks of it - which simply does not exist yet in the airsoft market. It also has a proprietary monolithic rail and upper receiver (though the CM901 lower receiver accepts existing AR uppers). And it has a VLTOR Clubfoot Modstock, not a crane stock. To sum it up, unless you can custom machine CM901 parts, or an overseas manufacturer makes a replica, you wouldn't really be able to make an airsoft CM901.

Actually colt makes that rifle. The lower receiver is compatible with different calibers (7.62- 5.56-.308-6.8). The exact same lower works for all calibers. Colt didn't mention how they were managed that at shot show because they're still working on the patents. Its a pretty cool rifle.

The stock in Modern Warfare 3 is an IMOD, but photos from defensereview have a Clubfoot. Though it's not really the stock that makes it a CM901 - as it is obviously changeable. And assuming the OP is interested in the gun because of MW3, I meant that he would be using 7.62 sized mags.

Just get an SR25 and slap a 9" RIS on it
Or get an M4, slap an MRP upper on it and use 20 round mags

your right. With that size of a mag/magwell, looks like the gun would take a M14 mag instead of a AR one in the airsoft world

honestly an hk416 is close enough that you wouldnt really have to modify anything

if you really wanted the larger mags, you could always mod an SR-25 but again showing you are a COD-tard really isn't a good thing in airsoft.

COD seems to have become the standard for how popular a gun is. If it isn't in COD and plated in gold then the kidiots don't want it.

eh, a couple of the eb stores in winnipeg here got my team out in full kit, cleared it with mall security and winnipeg police

basically there to look cool with all our toys, but some of the kids tried to talk to us like they knew what they were going on about, pretty much just shot their dreams to hell, was fun

hell the staff encouraged it, they hate 12-14 year olds that come in to buy rated M games

let the police know it was airsoft gear, no batteries, no bbs, none of the equipment would be discharged, and all guns would be on our person at all times, either holstered for pistols (or in hand for photos with ppl that wanted pics with us) and all rifles would be on slings and the customers wouldnt be able to touch

The HK416 and G36C/K were my favorite guns to begin with.....

On a side note, some guns are so common that even if it was in COD people wouldnt mind because it was so common......and I learn the same lesson of life once again. If it's generally accepted, then it's fine. And I find that gay.

Personally I love the look of the G36K with the C rail on it, I just hate the mags and I hate the look of M4 mags in a G36. Just can't win with that one.

I believe there is an M4/M16 carry handle with the rail mounted on top. Along with like a dozen other handle replacements with raised rails.

Don't the FAMAS and L85 have railed carry handles? lol

The type 97/97b also have rails that can be added on the carry handle. With regards to guns popularized by MW3, the type 95 also has this gap. The aug a2 has a gap as well.

At least Im glad that they included the Type 95 in that game. I hope people get more educated. Im fucking sick of being asked if my Type 97b is a famas....

However, if I remember correctly, all of those guns have a carrying handle that is either like a rectangle or have both sides of the handle slanted. The G36 has one side slanted one side vertical.

Or you could just use pmags in a magwell adaptor, magpul started making real steel pmags for the g36 anyways.

Right now ive got the old dual optic carry handle on my g36c, i love it.

I can sorta see how the kid thoguht the g36 was an acr since the front end looks similar with the way the front guard goes around the gas block, but still....both guns are in the game, you would figure he could have been able to tell the difference.

not as much stuff on it, no locking lugs, and none of the odd protrusions on the bottom of hte mag that are supposed to make it easier to draw, so itll fit properly in an m4 mag pouch, i think ive got a pic of one of the e-mags in my g36 up on the maa page, doesnt look half bad

But can you fit TWO in a double M4 mag pouch?
I'll always prefer M4 mags to almost anything else, simply due to the fact the sides are completely flat, so you can stack them against each other, and pull them out without anything else coming with it. Makes for smoother and faster mag changes =p

I agree.....i have double stacked AK mag pouches for my T-56 and its getting annoying, sometimes i pull a mag out and the other one goes flying into the bush

It's really difficult to get a government to spend millions of dollars on a new primary weapon when there's no big wars, arms races, or real necessity for a new primary.
Look at the F22.
It costs billions of dollars, it was supposed to be the new big thing. They can barely justify maintaining a squadron of them. And it turned out to have a serious design flaw. And there's pretty much nowhere in the world where it's really required for service.

Well the dual engine argument in Canada saved I do believe only one or two aircraft over the entire career of the fighter. Which is why we never cared. The increased engine care and costs was not worth it.

Completely agree takagari. We definitely need new fighters. Prolonging the use of our old F-18s isn't going to get us anywhere. We will fall short if it comes to dogfighting... They serve us well, but any fifth gen fighter will absolutely dominate us. Hell, most 4th gen fighters will be better.

And why wouldn't we buy the F-35? The Liberals sank a chunk of cash in building and researching it in the JSF program anyway. I'm pretty happy that they are going through and buying them.

Well I fix the c130 but work along side with the fighter techs on most missions as we do the air to air refilling. The c130s finally got replaced. The fighters badly need an update
