I think so too. The short barrel just makes it look a little too stubby for the fixed stock. The extended barrel will fix that right up.

I think that's gonna look awesome too. It's gonna be nice to see some 416s with different configurations than the standard crane stock and 10" barrel. All you need are some rail covers and maybe a front grip and you'll be all set. And have fun removing and installing that gas block again. :D

That would be nice. I'm not ruling out the 416 metal body kit down the road if I can get someone (possibly shootsoft) to bring it in for me. Won't be for a while yet though.

I checked with Christian from shootsoft for Guarder HK416 metal body but the entire world is out of stock. Hehe. I need mine.

Yeah, everyone is out of stock on the Guarder 416 kit right now, hence of my addition of "down the road " to my original post.

I received my barrel extension from ebaybanned. 4.5 inches. It gives a really nice look! D145RS POWAAA!

Dude, that looks great with the Elcan and long barrel. I tried my Elcan M145 replica on mine, and it just looked wierd because of the short barrel.

heres my 416 i just picked up today, its n echo1 model, rebranded jg, came with a peqbox and 2 mags and the barrel extention

I was home at lunchtime today, and my friendly mail carrier delivered my barrel extension.
I installed it as well as a Classic Army M4-length inner barrel. The inner barrel is about 1"
too short to reach the bottom of the flash hider, but it's good enough.

I'm really liking how it looks now with the longer barrel and full stock.
