Why would you do this. Now I want an AK again.

Decided to keep the real sword (but still also probably get a LCT..)

Going to plunk one of these on there

Shorter MOE or Zhukov?

Go full retard

Wilkie August 11th, 2016 22:57

Sounds like a plan. I'll have to get a new gas block or trim off the sling loop to mount that, it looks like, but that's doable.

I'd like to see about acquiring a set of Strike Industies Trax rails in Canada as well

I have what is called by Canadian Tire an airsoft gun AK47 but is actually a "clear soft" gun. But it can't even hold a candle to a real airsoft gun. Only thing it does have that an airsoft gun has is the plastic bb's they fire. Just curious was the AK47 used in the Korean war?

AFAIK it was not, the AK didn't show up in widespread service until after the 50's. It more or less made its debut on the battlefield in Vietnam.

First showed up in Hungary I believe during their revolution. That was a few years after the Korean War ended.

Ordered the wrong colour vertical grip. Clearly the only fix is to buy a second gun to make tan..

Once the pins are knocked out (which has proven difficult) the front sight is going to go, with the gas block being replaced by one with a sight. I've asked a friend about milling the barrel down to SBR length, and welding a buffer tube to the existing folding stock mount.

Recoil Magazine made me realize how much I like this look. I'll eventually end up getting another AK to look just like that, thanks to them.
