I would say the only thing that the new site has going for it is that it looks more professional.

One feature that I already miss is the "what's New" link.

The new layout has it so you can see the "latest Products" when you've dug down into a particular manufacturer's menu but the old What's New let you know of all the new items added recently regardless of who manufactured it.

You dont have to email for a price guys. Just hold on, Mark just answered my email. He said that basically your account has to get "approved" so that you can view prices and buy stuff. Its to protect himself, and in return the rest of us too.

And im sure mark will still be making changes to the website nothing is set in stone with this.

Before it gets out of hand. No one said anything about Age Verification on ASC being linked to Approval status on AAsurplus.ca.

They are two separate entities with no ties.

I get that, but if Mark decides whether your account gets activated or not, and I haven't received any activation emails for over two hours whereas Goodl2ussian claims to have gotten it in five minutes, I'm just kinda wondering whether Age Verified ASC members get top priority.

Check your spam folder. My activation email was filtered by Gmail as spam.

Ok, if you have to email him to get checked-out to get a price list, it's still a LOT of maintenance and it will still turn off customers.

You check your customers after they order, not before.
