Little late to the party as I've been on vacation the past week and a half.

Might as well add me to the list as well. Paid him $800 for his 3xg17s, 1xg18 and vsr on December 13th. Was given the same story that his wife shipped it out and would get me my tracking number after work. No response since

I'll be filing a police report with the Toronto Police and with my bank. I'm not 100% expecting to get the money back at this point but wouldn't mind seeing legal action be taken. I believe there are many others who have fallen victim who haven't yet come forward.

Major update: I messaged a contact who knows him personally. He said Brian hasn’t been able to be reached by his family or friends since he went on a “trip to Vietnam.” He also asked this contact to borrow $250 to pay for a hotel; possibly has asked to borrow from others as well. He was supposed to return December 14th but hasn’t been heard or seen from since. Also confirmed he’s never been a med student before

i feel like im stating the obvious but,.... having been scammed myself a few times, but recovering my money for most of those scams, not matter what group or what im told, if its verification, private groups, infomation grabbing etc.....

PAYPAL GOODS AND SERVICES!! 4% fees is worth the piece of mind in my opinion for situations like this when the arise.

hopefully something gets done with this guys, sounds like he has jumped country.

Hmm...

It's starting to sound like this guy might be in trouble with more than just the law now.

Note: I'm not personally involved but at someone who almost was, and buys sells frequently I am following this and hoping for a good resolution at the end.

stranger in a strange land

Reminds me of the bitcoin guy who (potentially) faked his own demise in India and the laptops and passwords never recovered, (or were they)? pulling off fingernails one at a time with a pair of rusty pliers usually gets passwords and can be quite the motivational tool but who knows. shady dealings none the less.

Lawyers for clients that lost money in the bitcoin exchange he ran are trying to get his body exhumed to make sure it's him.

For those affected - If you haven't already, you should PM manchovie your police report numbers together.

MODS: can you make us a bunker so we can discuss things?
