I very much dislike those magazine pouches. I can't think of a way to more effectively expose your rounds to the dust and muck.

Considering its use case, its an intended trade-off for better water drainage. Whether its worth it is up to them to T&E. Many other SOF (eg US navy seals) have been doing the same.

I got someone to do my engravings in HK and it came out exactly how I preferred. The fire selectors have accurate markings

I originally wanted to put the PEQ to the top, but I after realized how much it was blocking the sight, I took it off.
I will eventually paint it tan someday, but for now I consider the project as finally completed.
