I think I found another video, but if the escort "flash bang" in this video is the same as the one in the video you found (I think it is), then it looks really, really lame... I'd explain... but you'll understand after you watch the vid.

whatever you do, dont use bear bangers. they are loud as hell. during a class trip my teacher fired one into the camping area, everyone was complaining of ringing ears for about 15 minutes.
I mean it would work, but it has the capability for serious harm

GB-Tech and VFC are the same company. "Vega Force Company" was just the rebranded name for GB-Tech.

After a lot of Googling and thinking a came with this ( prototype )

It is 4 flash's from disposable cameras controlled by a Atmel Attiny 13.
When the push switch is activated, the led is blinking and after 3 sec the
4 flashes are trigger.

This is a pcb from one of the flash. The switch was replaced with a
Silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR and wiki) so that i can tiger from the Attiny.

All the stuff will be placed in a PVC pipe with 6 cm diameter. The flash's
will be placed with 90 degrees space between them so when i throw the
grenade at least 2 flash's will be at the top upper side.
And the assembly grenade.
