Looks great slow eddie but I would get the longer barrel.. Looks to stubby with the fixed stock and short barrel.

I agree. Just looks a little too stubby for my taste too wiht the fixed stock.

I'll be switching my stock to a fixed one shortly. I ordered the 6" barrel extender from ebaybanned and will be installing both, along with a new inner barrel, as soon as I get it. That's gonna look sweet.

What length inner barrel are you going to use?
i have a spare m16 length inner (509mm i believe) barrel lying around but i don't know what type of extender i would need for it

You could use that barrel extension then put a silencer ontop of it.

The barrel extender should give the outer barrel the same length as a standard M4 barrel (not sure of exact length offhand). I happen to have both TM and CA M4 inner barrels as spares, so I'll be using one of those with it.

I don't know how much longer they make barrel extensions though. The only one I've been able to find is that 6" one on ebaybanned.

Another option would be to get a longer barrel and new 416 front sight ($20 or so on ebaybanned.com). Add what with a new inner barrel, and you could actually interchange them as required.

I installed the full stock on my 416 and I like it better that way. Looks far too stubby with the short barrel, so I'm anxiously awaiting my barrel extender. I'll take some pics once I get everything together.

It's nice isn't it, that was my original setup as well.

I thought I'd post a few pics with the full stock, even though I don't have the barrel extension yet. I prefer the way it feels like this. And with my 8.4V 2200 mAh battery, it rocked.
