I might take you up on that Rob, once I get either my sewing machine fixed or buy another one. Since you say "true coyote brown", is that what Drach has in his pics? Reason I ask is that I have the Eagle Universal Chest rig in khaki, I understand that to be like coyote tan (almost has light OD properties to it in various light) and the dump pouch Drach made me is a darker brown. What is what in the world of coyote brown vs. tan. vs. khaki as far as cordura goes?

What I have is Coyote Brown, or rather what I made your dump pouch out of is coyote brown. To my understanding, there is also, Kaki, Coyote Tan, and another one in the mix.


There is a thread somewhere here in the gear section that outlines the difference. I'll see if I can find it again.

What's I'd like to get is the khaki, similar to this (BTW, mine is lighter in colour than the pic shows):

That, and I got caught up in another project :( . Trying to make a MOLLE vest. Ran outta hardware on it, so now back to the pouches.

What kind of hardware do you need?

Coyote Brown, D-rings, Double D-rings in 1 in and 1.5 in. I ran out of them all that I had ordered on my last DIYtactical order. Also going to need to make a nother order for webbing. Starting to actually see the end of my webbing, boy does that stuff go fast!


EDIT: I have enough to finish up Grahams M14 pouches. Just gotta sit my lazy ass down and do it! And stop bugging Stalker ::rolleyes::
