Yeah, I bought a USP compact from 007. It arrived exactly when it should have, and I haven't had any problems at all with it. Yeh, as I look now, the price wasn't exactly stellar, but the service certainly was in no way lacking. Everything happened as expected.

DEA here, then forums for all else.

Never had a problem.

Use your gut instincts.

My Purchase experiences:

MP5 SD5 from Steve187 = Pickup, no problems
P226, BBs from DEA = 2-3 days in my hands
Propane Adaptor from Airsoft Innovations = 2 days if I remember correctly, no problems
SRC M4 (and many accessories!)- Storeskeeper = Pickup, no problems
UMP - Grim Fandango = Pre-order, awaiting shipment, replies to PM's, nice guy, no problems
M3 Light - Jugglez = 2 days I think, no problems (also in UNC Order because of this)

So far so good, I recommend any of them, always a pleasure to deal with them.

I've dealt with Atlantic Armory before, I bought BBs they were selling at 50$ for 3 bags, pretty good price. Anywas it went through no problems, though it took two weeks after I paid to get them.

DJ_Merle February 14th, 2006 19:30

I too had a run in with Atlantic Armory. I never recieved my stuff after 3 months, but they did send me a refund. So, I guess it's alright with me now but I kinda wanted that gun. but, Tru has been the best I've delt with. He is quick, hes friendly and sells good stuff!!! A+ for Tru!

Drake February 14th, 2006 19:49

Thats maybe the difference with Tru and other reputable retailers: they not only will send you stuff they list as In Stock, they'll also manage get you stuff they don't have.

<3 t3h Tru

i have 3 GBB from Rangers and was amazed by the service.
bought online in the afternoon , delivered THE NEXT DAY (and that is Calgary to Montreal) by Purolator.
on 3 different occasions.Keep it up guys , i will buy from you again.

Hmm..I've always wanted to place an order w/ Tru, but haven't had time to get validated yet. I work in the food industry, and I basically work nights a lot, and weekends, so usually can't meet up at the meetings ;)

Hopefully this will be sorted out, and I can post some good news

I'm sure everyone appreciates the comments of who you CAN trust to make your purchases, but lets try to keep this on topic and in focus.

Atlantic Armory took 9 weeks to send me the G36 I paid for up front and that was magically rushed to me only after creating a thread about it here and mentioning to Cory how easy and effortless it is to file in small claims court. We made an agreement that a partial refund would be provided with the gun as well.. guess what... no refund. No surprise there.

This is obviously NOT appropriate conduct for a business catoring to such a close-knit community. Lisa it is great that you removed them from the retailers list at the top. It is unfortunate that any business should have to be removed for any reason especially when it was built by someone else with much higher standards of service. New ownership seems to have taken AA into the wrong direction.

I've already spoken to Craig in regards to his pending AK order and I can only hope he contributes his own troubles to this thread as well.

Dozer_01 February 16th, 2006 22:36

When i heared that Lokes was having issues with AA, i contacted Corey immediately. I believe Lokes got his AEG within a week or so after. I hate it when little things can't be done. I take pride in what i sell on this board or wherever. I wish most people would too.

Sorry to bring up at some-what old thread, but I just got back from spring break and saw this. I personally know Cory, and the reason that most of you have had troube recieving yours guns and accessories, it is because so has he. His supplier out west has screwed him out of money on several occasions.

On another note to this, over the past week the RCMP forced him to close shop because they said they will charge him with possesion because they are doing a crack down on airsoft in PEI. So, he is not allowed to sell the guns anymore. But for those of you who ordered guns off of him you will still recieve them when they arrive.

GraveTech February 21st, 2006 09:51

That does not excuse the lack of communication he had with his customers. If he is having trouble getting something that he owes someone, he should refund their money and say, "Sorry, I can't get that item right now." or he should say, "I am having difficulty getting that item, but I will keep you updated with my progress." It really is that simple.

I don't beleive this RCMP thing. First, if he has a licence to sell those guns he has a licence to own them... they can't just force you to close business. Businesses in this country have the same rights as any individuals in this country. They can't just come to your place and say : ''hey don't sell those even if you have a license to do so because we don't like that''... they have to go in front of a judge and get papers to close down the business. On the other hand, If AA don't have any licences to sell, well that is an other problem...It can also be an entirely separated mather like unpaid taxes or other bull$hit and the government is after him.

Second, If that is the RCMP doing this, we will see other retailers around the country receiving uniformed guest very soon...

Sorry for my English, I write like crap in that language...

What about the people who are starting out and trying to get trade rating. Not saying people with 0 trading are trustable but some are so that's kinda biased.

Well... that's what the trader rating system is for. The entire point is to make you more confident dealing with someone who has a solid, positive rating. I mean, in your position, suppose two people offer you the same gun for the same price. One has no trading history, and the other has 12 good transactions to his name. Which will you choose? Seems like a pretty obvious choice... it's just common sense =)
