Is it really? How's the cool down? How about the build quality (tolerances)? How about the metals used (WE = pot metal, at least on the pistols that I've seen)?

Just wondering... sort of vaguely maybe considering getting one in a year, lol.

cool down not the greatest, but im a singleshot kinda guy so doesnt really effect me. the build is fantastic, i love the kick, i have had only one issue, n its the mag, not as good as the KJW M4 mags. other than that, open her up, lube her up so she is soaked, n u will have a blast(litterally) all day.

The gas guns will ruin you for AEGs won't they? LOL

Re. the mags...really what I've found is that the best thing to do is to use silicone oil with your gas (either a drop per mag fill...or prelube your whole tank) and to *shock* actually use them all frequently. Oil + gas pressure keeps the seals working nicely.

If you've got to set them aside for a bit..."over" lube them and half gas them up for storage.

If they seem to leak, take 'em apart, grease up the seal, try them again. So far there's been only 2 mags that I have not been able to resurrect...and one of those were because I pinched the seal between the plate and the mag when I was screwing it together.

Hey all, sorry if this has been addressed, but I have an echo 1 416 and want to "upgrade" the plastic body to a metal one. I'm looking at a 2nd generation DBoy's receiver/body but I want to know if the mating of the top rails is going to be really bad. Has anyone had any experience with this???

Depends if the Echo1 is based upon the JG or the DBoys. I'm not exactly sure... if it's based upon the JG, it will look bad. If it's based upon the Dboys, it'll work great, lol. I'll take some pics and show you if you can't tell the difference in designs... I just need to get my HK416 back (damn you, Skladfin - pick up your fricking phone, already).

Plastic body = JG 2008

JG 2009 and more recent have a metal body. All DBoys HK416 have a metal body.

There was a mixup with my order for those magpul parts... I was supposed to get an ambi sling plate to replace the bent one, and some XTM rail rubbers.

To come soon hopefully, new sights as the WE ones are trash and a silencer!

well, this is a 416 CQB with a barrel extender.

Is an "agressive" muzze model. (to break windows, I think)

Change windows with "Djihadist tooth" and you'll have it right XD

More seriously with the 416 you can torture the barrel in anyway you want it will hold but when I tried with an M4 (RS I mean), the barrel twisted and I broke the upper. It was for a demo and was intended though.
What did I do ? Used both of them as crowbar to break open a truck door. When I say torture I mean it. XD

Seriously don't use your M4 for anything but to shoot.
