More retailers is always a good thing of course :)
How large of a stock would they be considering keeping?

Beaver's right.

+18, no exceptions.

go for it! what we need now is more supply of airsoft items (mainly guns). but i'd strongly agree they abide to the 18+ rule.
btw keep in mind there was a airsoft raid in BC a couple years back.

does anyone know where Gorilla airsoft is?

Broadway between Clark and Commerical. Very good location. A few minutes walk from the skytrain.

why don't u have them sign up and they can talk to airsofters from all over Canada to get some good ideas.

I would have to say +1 on all... And I beleive, not only people from BC but each provinces' would have a great benefit from this big move. I highly recommend it.....now make it happen.

Gentlemen,

I was speaking with the management of Gorilla Surplus in Vancouver regarding the importation and selling of Airsoft Accessories here in Vancouver. What I would like to determine is:

1. If Gorilla Surplus were to import airsoft hardware/accessories for sale at their location, would there be enough interest from the Airsoft community here in the lower mainland?

2. If they were to legitimately import airsoft guns, would there be enough interest in the airsoft community in the lower mainland?

3. Would the airsoft community in the lower mainland like to see a ligitimate and reputable company branch into airsoft in the lower mainland?

Thanks for your input.

I'd be down for it. I'd be even more interested if they could get PTW accessories aswell. Would kick serious ass..

minor..... thanks for the compliment.... :p

Are they actually considering mail orders for airsoft? Or are they going to be like the other local surplus store and carry a small stock of airsoft stuff for local walk-ins only? IE, not advertise on their webpage.

Gorilla's webpage if anyone is interested.

which station is that?...the broadway one?

Shrapnel[Op-For] December 20th, 2007 19:38

Well, I replied because I live in Richmond B.C , and play at a club in surrey... so having another place for surplus and guns would be good.

trufret December 20th, 2007 21:12

It's always nice to have another retailer providing they are going to be 18+ only and carry decent gear and a competitive price. having a online storefront for the rest of the country would guarantee there would be enough interest.

Well we have not discussed the details of the amount of supply and that sort of thing as of yet. At this point, we are just trying to guage the interest in the airsoft community in having a reputable dealer such as Gorilla supply airsoft items. Rob from Gorilla Surplus is going to look into suppliers as well as all the red tape that may or may not be required. But I am hoping that if we as a community show enough interest then I believe he will start supplying. Speaking to him today he is genuinely interested in doing this. So speak up lads and make your voices heard!!!!

Having a retailer in BC again would be great! :)
