I had a choice... it was either the G36 or the M203.

My tertiary is called a TokyoSeven.

i don't know, i feel like you needs to add a grenade launcher to the g36

mmmken January 24th, 2013 22:25

If you were pro, you'd have mounted the M320 on the G36 and then mounted the G36 to the G3. Why either? Mount them both! Make use of those rails!

Aquamarine January 24th, 2013 22:34

At that point, I wasn't in posession of n M203 so... you'll just have to imagine I mouned an M203 on the G36 on the PSG-50.

Actually putting a few open top magazine pouches on your chest works. You can reload with minimal movement while prone.

Exactly what I was thinking lol

Primary; marui VSR-10
secondary; pistol, if I'm carrying one at all (they don't work so well in winter)
tertiary; if you need a THIRD gun as a sniper, you are not doing it right.

gear; UR-tactical used to have the perfect 4mag chest rig for this, had a pouch for my VSR-10 mags, 2 pistol mag pouches, carried my radio, had 4 M4 mags in it for stability (also came in handy if someone died and I needed to borrow their M4 :D )
Pistol holster, either on a belt or dropleg
And a camelbak

Really light loadout, 2 weapons, ammo, mags, water, radio, that's it.
Simple, streamlined, not meant to be in a prolonged firefight.

primary: Fully modded L96
secondary : P226

marpat loadout with funnyhat. no guilli for now. And even without it, I've been able to be 2-3 feet from passerby without being notice.
small plate carrier with hydro pouch. open mag pouch in front, pistol mag on the side. and the pistol on the front chest horizontaly placed. I have almost no arm movement from the riffle trigger to the pistol in my hand.

Hmmmmm, 3 year necropost...
Oh well, what the hell; I'll contribute too.

Custom KJW KC02 with full custom internals with either my P226 or M9 (whichever I feel like) on the small of my back or in a drop leg. I currently use a 1-4x scope, but it's not a short dot and FOV isn't great, so saving up for a nice Vortex 1-6x short dot.

Currently a MARPAT bdu setup with a battlebelt+drop leg system for my mags so I have easy access even while prone. Hydro carrier on my back for water access and no reflection off plastic or noises of metal clanking. Throat mic + earpiece + radio for comms. Currently adding a CADPAT poncho for raingear :)

Future loadout will be a full Pencott Greenzone BDU + Plate Carrier + D3CR + Tyr Gunfighter Belt + HSGI drop leg system. (I know, expensive as hell...) I might add a flatpack or something in Greenzone to this kit too (so I can carry MREs, extra water, extra ammo, other bits and pieces I might need)

Don't like ghilles; they catch on too much stuff and is too heavy. Hence the planned full Greenzone kit; it's both a disruptive and mimicry pattern and basically turns you invisible lol.

@Vandal*Qc*: As a sniper, why would you mount your pistol on your chest? Isn't it cumbersome to reach for when you're prone? Same with your mag pouches on your front.

Vandal*Qc* March 25th, 2016 23:41

the mag MAY change place, but rarely I have to reload while prone. and the handgun is on the top of the vest . it sound weird but its really comfy and fast to grab. And I never liked on the leg. it distract me when moving etc.
